Both of the indicated teeth have old, very large silver fillings and cusps have now broken off both of them. The top, left one the broken piece was on the inside face and between it and the tooth in front of it. The bottom, right the facial side has broken away. The teeth immediately adjacent to both of these broken molars have had root canals and gold onlay reconstructions. The broken teeth do not have noticable hot/cold sensitivity but have specific points which are touch/pressure sensitive. What would determine that the teeth would have to be extracted? I really don't want to lose these teeth! Are pulp caps a possible option, or root canals? The dental school patient program I screened for, did n1ot tell me to go to a private dentist but had me waiting for student assignment for months. Please help, I can't keep going on like this. I also need referrals for dentists in either Gainesville, FL or Athens, GA regions.
